Thank you for your interest in performing at the Saint Louis Art Fair! Please read below and provide the following information.


APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 1, 2025.


The Saint Louis Art Fair (“SLAF”) provides a broad array of exceptional live entertainment throughout the Art Fair weekend on three distinct stages for the enjoyment of our diverse audience. All applicants will be considered until the

May 1, 2025 deadline.


Notification by email will be sent to performing artist applicants no later than

June 13, 2025.


Signed contracts and W9s from selected performing artists must be received by SLAF by June 30, 2025.


The dates for the 2025 Saint Louis Art Fair are:

Friday, Sept. 5, from 5pm-10pm

Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10am-9pm

Sunday, Sept. 7, from 11am-5pm


Attendance at the Saint Louis Art Fair reaches up to 130,000 people over the Art Fair weekend. You will be performing for a large and diverse crowd.


The Saint Louis Art Fair has up to three performance stages:


The Main Stage: This is the hub of entertainment at the Art Fair right by Restaurant Row. This stage is located at 40 S. Central Ave. and open Friday through Sunday of the Art Fair.


The Performing Arts Stage: This stage celebrates diverse performances and is in Creative Castle (the children's art activity area). This stage is located on Forsyth Blvd, east of Central Ave. and open to the public only on Saturday and Sunday of the Art Fair.


The Independent Artist Stage (not implemented every year): This stage is for up-and-coming artists to showcase their talent and gain exposure. This stage is located on S. Meramec Ave. near the Food Truck area and open Friday through Sunday of the Art Fair.


The Saint Louis Art Fair provides all staging, lighting, and sound equipment (including microphones) from Logic Systems. You are responsible for bringing instruments, music stands, backtrack music, and any other specialty equipment you may need.


If selected to perform, you will be contacted by email and required to sign a contract and submit a W9.

As a nonprofit organization, the Saint Louis Art Fair is dedicated to celebrating and showcasing a wide array of artistic talent. While we strive to fairly compensate our performers, our budget is limited. We kindly invite you to consider the option of performing in-kind (unpaid) as a way to support our mission and help us bring diverse performances to our audience. This is entirely optional, and we deeply appreciate your generosity and consideration.

Performer Application Terms and Conditions


By submitting an application to perform at the 2025 Saint Louis Art Fair (SLAF), applicants agree to the following terms and conditions:


  1. Application Approval: Submission of an application does not guarantee selection to perform at SLAF. All applications are subject to review and approval. Communications from SLAF, or with any party affiliated with SLAF, via email or other means as to application status, does not imply approval or confirmation of participation. To be confirmed as a performer of the 2025 Saint Louis Art Fair, the applicant must: (a) be approved, (b) submit a requested W9, and (c) execute the contract sent by SLAF upon notification of approval offer to perform. The executed contract must be received by SLAF no later than June 30, 2025.
  2. Contract Requirement: Only applicants who receive a formal contract, fully executed by both you and an authorized representative of SLAF via email by the established deadline, will be confirmed as performers.
  3. Experience Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of one year of performance experience at the time of application. This experience must be verified with media evidence, such as photos or videos, from performances dated at least one year prior to the application date.
  4. Non-Negotiable Performance Schedule: Once the SLAF stage schedule is finalized, no changes, substitutions, or transfers in performers will be permitted. All changes, substitutions, or transfers in performers must be approved in writing by SLAF.
  5. Grounds for Disqualification: SLAF reserves the right to disqualify any applicant or performer at its sole discretion for actions deemed inappropriate or harmful to the integrity of the event. This includes, but is not limited to, making disparaging remarks about SLAF, engaging in unprofessional, illegal or unethical behavior, violating event policies, or any conduct that SLAF determines to be inconsistent with its values or mission. Disqualification may apply to participation in the current event as well as future SLAF events.
  6. Social Media Requirement: All performance groups are required to maintain a strong social media presence, as determined by SLAF, as a condition for application approval.
  7. Prohibition of Political Statements: Performers are strictly prohibited from making any visual or audible political statements during their performances.
  8. Approval of Signage and Stage Sets: All stage sets, signage, and other visual elements must be submitted for SLAF staff approval in writing by SLAF at least one month prior to the event.
  9. Extension of Application Deadline: SLAF reserves the right to extend the application deadline to secure additional performances, if necessary.
  10. Consequences for Non-Compliance: Failure to adhere to any of these terms and conditions will result in immediate disqualification from participating in SLAF this year, and at the discretion of SLAF staff, in future SLAF events.
  11. Modification: The terms and conditions described herein may be amended at any time by SLAF with or without notice.
